North West Air Ambulance are a charity dedicated to a clear vision: to bring the hospital to the patient. Operating 365 days a year and covering an area of 5,500 square miles of the North West, the charity’s work is crucial to delivering life saving treatment where it is needed most.

A common misconception is that North West Air Ambulance receive government or NHS funding to operate when, in reality, the charity relies on public donations to raise over £12 million each year to remain operational.

In order to raise awareness of this, the We’re There campaign highlights the fact that the regions 18 - 35 year olds feel able to pursue outdoor activities such as hiking, water sports and even cycling to work, because North West Air Ambulance are there.
