Pioneering a New National Security: The Ethics of Artificial Intelligence is a first-of-its kind paper, outlining how GCHQ may use AI to help protect the UK.

The paper required a visual representation of AI to be peppered throughout its pages, meaning an illustrative style needed to be created that painted Artificial Intelligence as an ever-learning, helpful ally to our modern way of living; no mean feat! Alongside this, the paper needed clearly functional typography and page furniture, to enable the reader to digest complex historical and technological information easily and enjoyably. The paper was a great success, with accompanying social assets seeing a significantly marked rise in interactions and click-throughs across the board.
